Who can I hire?
Tradespeople can only hire workers within their specific skilled trade, but everyone can hire labourers! If you’re a registered builder, you can hire any qualified tradespeople.
Can I advertise my apprentices?
Yes, you can advertise your apprentices. Hirem’s goal is to fill your week with work as quickly as possible. Just be sure to follow Hirem’s Terms and Conditions to understand your responsibilities as an employer.
Do you have to have an ABN to sign up?
It's vital to have an ABN to sign up, even if you're skilled in the trade. An ABN is needed for verification and insurance purposes, unless you are invited by your employer.
Is there a cancellation policy?
At Hirem, we value job security. That's why our Terms and Conditions include a 24-hour cancellation policy. If a company books your services but cancels within 24 hours of the start time, they will be charged 50% of your daily fee. This fee will be automatically invoiced on your behalf.
